creating LOGOS for Magic The Gathering

Logos are images that represent businesses and personal ideas to form a concept in the visual 2-dimensional world. Here are two examples showcasing the popular collectable card game Magic The Gathering.
Here is a design I created for the Podcast LIMITED RESOURCES hosted on MTGCast. Even though Limited Resources hosts Marshal and Ryan have not used the design YET(hey guys email me) it displays just how black images on a white background with minimal text can effectively display an idea, concept, and/or business name.

In the theme of MTG here is a similar logo for local Tacoma, WA card shop Exalted Games. Notice the "G" of games? It is a symbol used frequently in the game and placed on most MTG card products. This "hints" or maybe even subconsciously plants a concept to the viewer to the motive or idea behind logo without excessive wordage.

CAMERON

No one can resist the family pet and my dog Cameron is no different! Now immortalized on the internet Cameron sits in a sea of black and white foliage attentive as ever as I snapped this picture in bowels of the Tacoma Narrows Point Defiance woods near the Gig Harbor power towers and train tracks.

Here is the original picture before my graphic mind got a hold of it.

dotmatrix

Here is a piece that just started with a name->"dot-matrix"
The next step that followed was fusing Neo from the MATRIX
with red dots and few ak-47's to round off an edgy theme
Middle-East meets Western movie culture. I have even created a few
vinyl decals with a LESS is MORE feel.
